What can you do with nature photos bought here? – Affordable Nature Photos

Five dollars buys a licence to one photograph. No subscription, no credits, no tiers, and no extended licence to upgrade to later.

Permitted

Worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, commercial. Concretely:

• Packaging and labels, at any print run, for products you sell.
• Advertising in every medium, with no impression cap and no territory restriction.
• Websites, apps, editorial layouts, books, covers and reports.
• Merchandise carrying your design.
• Client work, where your delivered piece is covered by your licence.
• Interior graphics, signage, exhibitions and print for commercial spaces.

Editing is unrestricted: crop, grade, retouch, cut out, composite, distort.

Prohibited

• Redistributing the file itself, in any form, to anyone.
• Adding it to another library, marketplace, asset pack, template or theme.
• Print-on-demand where the photograph is the whole product.
• Machine-learning training data.
• Presenting a real, identifiable place or person misleadingly.

Packaging, specifically

This is the use that most libraries put behind a paid upgrade, so to be explicit: packaging is included in the five dollars. Any print run, any market, permanently. There is no threshold at which you owe more, and there is nothing to buy afterwards.

We say this loudly because the comparison people make is usually against a headline price that excludes exactly this.

The edge cases

Sub-licensing. Not permitted. If a second party needs the original file for their own work, they buy their own licence.

Reselling a publication that contains the image. Permitted. A magazine, a book, a paid report or a course can be sold; the reader is buying the publication. Offering the image itself as a separate download to your subscribers is not, because at that point the file is the product again.

Volume. Any number of files for a project is fine. Systematically acquiring a large share of the catalogue for republication is redistribution wearing a different name; write first.

What you are not buying

Copyright, and exclusivity. The photographer keeps the first. The second is not sold here at all, which is the trade that makes five dollars possible.

If a campaign depends on nobody else holding the picture, read the exclusivity page before you commit to a frame.

How long it lasts

Perpetual means perpetual. The licence does not expire, does not renew, and is not tied to an account that could lapse. If this site vanished tomorrow the permission you bought would still cover the work you had already made, and your PayPal receipt is the whole record of it.

That matters more than it sounds. Subscription licences generally survive cancellation for already-published work, but reconstructing two years later exactly what you were entitled to, from an account you no longer hold, is a genuinely unpleasant afternoon.
